NEW MONTHLY COMEDY NIGHT, “EXTRA TOPPING” TO START ON FRIDAY 15th APRIL 2022.
Celebrating all live comedy outside of traditional stand up, “Extra Topping” begins its monthly residency (every third Friday of the month) in Brighton and Hove’s hottest new small theatre and comedy spot, the Poets Ale and Smokehouse on 15th April. Tickets £8. Showtime at 7.30pm (2 hours including interval)
“Extra Topping” showcases the best comedy from Brighton and the South East.
Expect four, funny sets from diverse comedic genres, lovingly introduced by your genial compere, giving you a tantalising taste of the breadth and depth of the City’s comedy scene. Sample the delights of performers specialising in character comedy, improv, sketch, musical comedy, physical comedy, poetry and more.
The Poets Ale and Smokehouse have collaborated with grassroots arts champions, Sweet Venues, to create a fabulous boutique performance space which is fast becoming one of the best places to see fringe theatre and comedy in Brighton and Hove..
Your host, Simon Topping, is a writer, performer and improv comedy veteran has performed many times in the Fringe, most recently with his sold out show, “Why I had to leave the North”.
